Another week of forest maintenance work is being planned for this summer; the sixth such event in as many years. Besides the voluntary work in the woods, it is expected to include camping, forest pujas and wildlife guided walks. Lay men and women are invited to come and take part. The week begins on Saturday 2nd July and ends the following Saturday 9th July. Some of the tasks are quite strenuous, but most could be carried out by anyone of average fitness: weeding or cutting bracken, birch and balsam, clearing paths & ponds, & repairing steps, signs & fences. For the detailed program and contact information go to the cittaviveka website, contact Paul Bruce on 07766900622, or email p.bruce684@gmail.com.
